Dr. Ashford earned his Doctor of Medicine and completed his OB/GYN residency at the Medical College of Georgia at Georgia Regents University (now called the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University) in Augusta, Georgia.
Since 1985, Dr. Ashford has been a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FACOG).
