Brookes Vaughan, NP, is a nurse practitioner who specializes in gynecology care at The Ashford Center in Athens, Georgia. Brookes is a perfect addition to the Ashford team and has special training in hormone imbalance, problem periods, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and perimenopause.
After graduating Magna Cum Laude with her bachelor’s degree in health promotion and behavioral science from The University of Georgia (UGA) in Athens, Georgia, Brookes went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing and Women’s Health Nursing at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in Nashville, Tennessee, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Brookes holds board certification as a Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC®) from the Georgia Board of Nursing.
When it comes to patient care, Brookes spends enough time with each patient to get to the root of their problem so she can provide them with real solutions.
Before joining The Ashford Center, Brookes founded the Women’s Health Company, a telemedicine clinic for women, and was the podcast host at WoCo Radio.
